At the KZNYA Model United Nations 2026, Al-Falaah College proudly showcased the exceptional abilities of its delegation. Representing the USA and Türkiye in the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), Salma Lahrie, Hannah Mitha, Mutmaheenah Sabiu-Saheed and Ayesha Mahomed demonstrated remarkable skill and professionalism.
Throughout the conference, delegates faced intricate migration-related challenges requiring not only thorough knowledge of their assigned countries’ policies but also sharp strategic thinking, diplomacy and adaptability. The delegation’s strength lay in their ability to think on their feet, deliver compelling speeches, and skillfully navigate intense negotiations and caucuses.
Ayesha and Mutmaheenah, representing Türkiye, stood out for their extraordinary composure and strategic acumen during a fast-paced crisis scenario. Their performance earned them the prestigious Best in Crisis Management award.
