Al Falaah College welcomed some special visitors on Tuesday, 8 September, when Durban City Football Club — PSL side and Nedbank Cup champions — used our sports grounds for a training session.
Seeing professional footballers put through their paces on the very fields our learners play on every day was a real treat. The pace, precision and discipline on display gave everyone watching a glimpse of what it takes to compete at the highest level.
The highlight came when a few fortunate learners had the chance to meet the players, chat with them and share a moment with the stars they usually only see on television. It is a memory those children will carry for a long time.
We thank Durban City FC for choosing our campus and for the warmth they showed our learners. It is always a privilege to see our facilities used to inspire the next generation.
