This term, Al Falaah College, together with the Sweet Hearts Foundation, embarked on a meaningful recycling campaign to collect bottle caps, bread tags and soda tabs.
What may seem like small items can make a big impact. Through this initiative, our learners and school community have been learning that simple everyday actions, such as recycling, can contribute towards making a meaningful difference in someone’s life.
The collected recyclable materials are being used to raise funds towards sponsoring a wheelchair for someone in need. This project has provided our learners with an opportunity to learn about environmental responsibility while also developing compassion, generosity and a sense of community.
We are incredibly proud of our school community for embracing this initiative and contributing towards this worthy cause. Every bottle cap, bread tag and soda tab collected represents a small contribution towards a much bigger goal.
