Netball

Netball at AFC is a dynamic and all inclusive, major sport for our girls. The Netball squads have never failed to disappoint, frequently dominating at the Annual Netball Association of Muslim Schools Tournament. The teams also consistently feature at tournaments and fixtures played, with titles in all age groups awarded.

Our Netball program is coached and led by qualified in-house coaches as well as a team of specialized Netball KZN qualified coaches. Teams run in all age groups from U9 to OPEN with training sessions and matches during the week and on weekends for the Netball season. With the intricacies of Netball as a sport, junior learners’ talents are developed from a young age through a ball-skills development program for girls aged 6 to 9. Focus is placed on a high level of discipline as well as strategic gameplay for all older Netball Girls. We encourage learners to take on this sport for its many benefits, whether their goal is to enjoy a fun after-school activity or to reach further competitive level Netball.
