This past weekend, three of our learners — Faatimah Limbada, Ismaeel Essack, and Zainab Khan — proudly represented the school at the local Model United Nations (MUN) assembly. Competing against several schools, they delivered a strong and well‑argued debate, earning the Best Delegation Teamwork Award.
The conference gave them the chance to meet peers from other schools and to explore real‑world politics. The urgent topic under discussion was Food insecurity and Famine in war‑stricken areas.
The experience offered the team a fresh perspective on international affairs and highlighted the importance of staying informed about current events. Reflecting on the day, Faatimah Limbada shared: “For teenagers, we sometimes find it hard to keep up with current affairs, but Model UN provides a perfect platform to engage and learn more about what’s actually happening in the world around us.”
