Learners from the Foundation and Intermediate Phase were inspired by an interesting, informative talk from the Bergtheil Museum. The museum curator visited the school and spoke to the learners about the history of Heritage Day and local history museums in Durban.
She explained how Heritage Day got its name and shared the history behind the day. Learners enjoyed discovering more about South Africa’s rich cultural heritage — it was a valuable learning experience.
