We proudly celebrate six of our Grade 10 learners — Faatimah Limbada, Muhammad Dhaler, Amirah Desai, Nuha Dawjee, Amaan A. Khan, and Muhammad F. Moolla — who have been nominated to represent Al-Falaah College at the Durban Youth Council (DYC).
Their selection reflects not only academic excellence but also their passion for service, leadership, and positive change. As office bearers for the 2026-2027 term, they will contribute to impactful projects tackling issues such as education, gender-based violence, and employment opportunities.
The DYC, established in 1966, is a prestigious platform that brings together over 100 learners from schools across Durban. It empowers young leaders to engage in community-driven initiatives, sharpen problem-solving skills, and collaborate across diverse backgrounds.
For our learners, this is more than an appointment — it is an opportunity to embody Al-Falaah’s ethos of responsibility, respect, and service. Their representation is a proud moment for our school, and we are confident they will leave a lasting mark on the council and beyond.
We congratulate them on this remarkable achievement and wish them every success as they embark on this exciting journey of leadership and growth.
